Puerto Princesa Palawan Part 1

PPS Part 1 --  JYYco's Birthday special!

Sorry guys this is quite a long post... I wanna tell the world.. how special having a Yey! vacation with my one and only honie J with the Y--c--o Jayson Yco!

I know i'm a little late on this but i want to share some photos of our vacation in Puerto Princesa Palawan last September 14, 2013, celebrating JYco's birthday slash short vacay...

me and my jay (nervous and excited) arriving at PPS International Airport

First Quarter:
So.... no further redo

First stop -- GO hotel...
I know Jay was very excited for our first adventure but first, we need to deposit our luggage to Go hotel.

North Road Brgy. San Manuel, Palawan 5300 Puerto Princesa Palawan. Go hotel is conveniently located at 3 minute walk fron Robinson Mall Palawan

Depositing your luggage is optional because you can make an early check-in in Go Hotel, but it will cost you about Php 560 or something (sorry but i forgot the exact price guys) and luggage deposit was only Php 50.00/luggage per day.

More details about our Go hotel experience : GO HOTEL

Second Quarter:

Second stop --- main activity for the first day, HONDA BAY ISLAND HOPPING!

We didn't avail a Tour Package for our Honda Bay Island Adventure because according to my research it is better to have a d.y.i Honda Bay trip, why? because you can control the time you spent in every island.

Our first plan was to join the other group and share the boat cost which is Php 1300 something but unfortunately we fail. We can't find a group who are willing to join us because at that time most of the group was consist of two big families so yah! we have no choice, we ended up renting the whole boat.

private tour, yey!

Pambato Reef was close at that time so we just took a picture of it

Our first island was the STAR FISH Island, which is obviously all about starfish!  you can do nothing much here but just enjoy the white sand and find some star fish for the picture taking.
me in starfish island - enjoying the view and afraid of the sun!

jay in starfish island -- he looks so happy!

Second isaland was the PANDAN Island, which is my fave out of three islands that we visited. I love snorkeling is best here than in Cowrie Island. Best 20 ft. view in my entire life! Beautiful corals and the fish, actually i'm thinking that they've trained the fish there, you know... its like they knew  that they are the reason why we went to Pandan island. feeling ko nagpo-pose sila for picture taking especially nemo! the clown fish ahahaha! Ganda tlga!

jay and me in Pandan island

Last island was the Cowrie Island, i am super exhausted na so i decided to just chill there, we ordered buko juice and we make a Palawan thingy out of starfish that we patiently collect, actually jay was more patient than me in collecting those starfish.  So yah! i think that's it! our Cowrie Island activities.
me and jay in cowrie island

And oh! don't forget to rent snorkel and the shoe thingy plus the camera case and dry pack for you phone (very important!) or better yet don't bring your expensive phone, jay was so excited that he forget to seal our dry bag and so our phone was drenched with salt water both our note 2 and other gadget was damaged... so sad... but what can we do que sera sera diba?

A lot was happened during this adventure, drenched gadget and miscalculated budget but all in all we enjoy the HONDA BAY ISLAND HOPING ADVENTURE... i think it's all worth it!

third quarter:

After Honda Bay we went back to Go Hotel... Its already 3:30 pm - check in.. sleep.. 6:00 PM -- freshen up prepareing for the our dinner but first we went to Robinson for cellphone service something as i mentioned earlier our phone was drenched.

Third stop --- KA LUI!
According to the blogs that I've read before going to PPS, Ka Lui is the most visited Seafood Restaurant in Puerto. It is a must visit place among tourist, so we decided to check it out!

A week before our vacation i emailed Ka Lui (online@kauirestaurant.com) they replied about the set A set B schedule something and so i choose set A then after that i didn't receive a confirmation, i don't know what happen to my reservation. So on the day of our vacation, i called Ka Lui about my email regarding reservation they told me that they didn't received an email or something regarding my reservation, tsk! minus point for Ka Lui.. anyways so ayon nga i made another reservation na lang.. 8 o'clock ng gabi of that same day.

I've read a lot of blog post about Ka Lui so i know what to expect na... no shoes allowed, barefoot dapat blah blah blah! but as soon as we arrive the place, i got amazed... galing ng concept! the picture that i saw on blogs is really true, the interior... the ambiance.. the people... wow! As we entered the restaurant, a friendly staff greeted us and guide us to their receiving area, and asked us to place our slippers in a basket or more like a bayong, barefooted no shoes allowed, and as soon as we place our slipper the staff immediately assist us to table.

We ordered the Ka Lui's special and as for our drinks, buko juice annnd sorry guys i forgot what i ordered for myself.. LOL! plus 3 bottles of beer anyways, as we waited for our food to be serve jay took some pictures of paintings... on the wall... ceiling..everywhere! then he took some picture of me a.. i don't know maybe a hundred time i think? hahaha!

After a minutes of wait our food arrived, we eat and talk and i greeted him a happy birthday! i wanted to sing hhappy birthday for him but i think he is still depressed about what happens to his cellphone so i decided to greet him na lang with a smile...

I know he took a lots of pictures but i'm kinda tired to upload, some of it was just a plate or something hahaha!... maybe you guys can check it out on my facebook.

All in all Ka Lui is indeed a beautiful place... a must visit! the food is cheap but delicious some says it is overated but for me.. you must come to Ka Lui and exeperienced what we\ve experience, it's really uhmmm basta! Two thumbs up for Ka LUI

forth quarter: Last stop for the day --- Go Hotel! why? we need to sleep! feeling exhausted ... and we need to wake up early the next day for our next activity which is Under Ground River Tour, yay!

Overtime: Our first day was a expect the unexpected day.. we've spent more than half of our budget and we've experienced some odd and not so good things. September 14, 2013 was definitely one of my unforgettable day of my entire life!

till next post -- PPS part 2 -- Underground River Tour plus church plus pasalubong! plus love love love!

Thank you and God bless

Isdaan Floating Restaurant

Isdaan Floating Restaurant
Seafood Restaurant and Filipino Restaurant in Calauan
National Highway
Calauan, Laguna

Warning: ako’y nagkukwento  lang… mejo mahaba  so sana maintindihan niyo.

First quarter:
This is my third post, wow di ba?! nakatatlo na ako… clap clap clap!

Ang kwento ko ngayon is about food and restaurant..  and this post is dedicated to my dad, na paalis na this coming September 24, 2013 papuntang ibang planeta.. joke! but seriously, he's going to Dubai, my dad is a Senior Construction Manager to an Italian Company in Dubai. So Despidida de shurva ang emote ng FAMILIA GEMAO.

Actually, matagal na naming plan ang kumain sa restaurant na ito.. you know, family boding shurva but unfortunately me and my kapatids have a different schedules kaya natagalan ang hirap i-set but  since paalis na ang dad ko we decided na ito na ang time, this is it pancit!

Second quarter:
About the place: ISDAAN a floating restaurant located in Calauan National Highway Calauan, Laguna. Yung may malaking statue, i don't know what that statue called but it's like a budha with a mermaid tail.. basta! anyways, ito yung place na makikita niyo sa left side ng daan if galing kayo ng Sta. Cruz and right side naman if galing kayo Calamba. Isdaan is open daily from 10 am until 11 pm.. i highly recommend na pumunta kayo around 5 to 6 pm, kung picture taking galore ang trip niyo and siguradohin na maganda ang panahon kasi kung gabi at naulan naku mga tol madulas  na ang daan mahirap ng gumala sa place so wala kang choice kundi mag emote ka nlang kung san ka nakaupo. wink!

Isdaan Restaurant is owned and operated by the Barrio Fiesta Group of Companies, in other words the Ongpauco’s and Evangelista Families. So expect na madaming food choices from super pinoy foods to foreign food drama.. depende sa trip niyo.

One of the features in Isdaan Restaurant is the TACSIYAPO which means "nakakainis". What do you do in Tacsiyapo? You buy a plates, glass, mugs or even working (i think) TV set then throw it against the wall... no cursing or using vulgar words, just shout tacsiyapo!

Third quarter:
What happened on that night: 8 o’clock in the evening,  it's raining but we decided na umalis na ng bahay baka kasi magsara na ang ISDAAN  mejo nagdadalawang isip kami na pumunta that time kasi nga maulan and baka chaka ang place pag naulan.

Pag dating namin sa Isdaan, te, ang  ganda ng place! Para kang nasa Thailand… daming giant statue… so lakad lakad kami unti mejo slippery ang daan (kasi  nga umulan..)  but don't worry Safety first naman sila kasi they've provided life vest.

So after kung napansin yun, lumapit agad ako sa girl na nakaupo habang nakkipagkwentohan sa kasama niang staff, I asked her to assist us, ang sabi ko pa sa kanya “good evening miss, I need a table for 10 person and we don't have a reservation, san ba dapat kami ppunta dito ba or dun?” tapos sabi sa akin “ma’am sampo po?” toinks! Bingi lang te? hahaha anyways, dun kami dinala sa malaking floating something  malapit sa stage. While waiting for my brother dan nag order na kami ng food kasi mejo nagutom na kami past 8 na ata nun, then after the food was serve kumain na agad kami  kunting chikahan.. picture picture then pasyal pasyal unti .. and then uwian…

Review sa place: Ang ganda sobra! pero sa staff minus kay ate na nakaupo at nakikipag kwentohan lang...

Fourth quarter:
The Food: Just like Barrio Fiesta, the food is all about Filipino cuisine may mga kunting Japanese dishes akong nakita pero dun kami sa pinoy… pinoy na pinoy. Actually the original plan was the boodle fight round something but after the brief intorduction of mr. Waiter we decided to order Tender Liempo Juicy spareribs, Bouillabaisse special seafood soup, seafoods platter, bagong saing na rice sa maliit na kaldero, gulay i forgot the name, pitcher of  mango juice and buko juice nalang.. tamad din kasing pumili si mama gusto niyang magtanung na lang sa waiter kung anu masarap. All in all Php 3,000+ I forgot the exact amount… pero around Php 3,000 or Php 4,000 sya... di ba cheap! for 10 persons? check!

Review sa food:  Two thumbs up!

Overtime:
All in all, we all have fun although bitin kasi mejo late na kaming pumunta... pero ayos sya, Isdaan is worth visiting.

Lesson learn, agahan ang punta sa Isdaan para makapasyal at sumakay ng bangka.

so How to get there…
Private Vehicle : from Manila, take Slex exit to Calamba then straight to Los banos . Then from Los banos there’s a forked road for Caluan town proper, Sta. Cruz and Bay Laguna. Go straight towards Sta. Cruz way, Isdaan restaurant is located on the right side of the road.

Commute : from Manila, take a bus yung may sta.cruz na sign board then sabihin mo lang Isdaan alam na nila yun… hehehhe

Kaya punta na dali!
Til next post!

Thank you and Godbless!

Kojie san Kojic Acid Soap

disclaimer : inuunahan ko na kayo, di ako binayaran or what so ever ng  BEVI for this review. I just want to share my experience about this product.

1ST QUARTER:
Okay guys, first and foremost i am not a morena type of person, di ako negi (dark skin) and di rin ako maputi (fair skin), sakto lang kung baga in between type of skin, at first i was really confident with my skin but syempre as i got older i notice that fair skin women suites every type of clothes especially yung mga cute color parang ang bango nila tingnan

So that's started all, my main problem? di ako maputi, i really want to have a maputing skin like Kris aquino hahaha! impossible isn't it?!  di naman ako chinese di gaya ni miss Kris, so yun nga i've tried a lot of whitening, brightening at bleaching at kung anu ano pang soap from super cheap too mejo expensive but none of those makes my skin fair in short d ako na-satisfied. CY Gabriel, Skinwhite, block n white, Silka, Kissa, Ysa, mga Gluta na sabon etc (almost lahat ng variance), I also tried taking gluta pills, some gluta pills makes me dizzy minsan meron ding nakakasuka kaya ayon tinigil ko te dahil hindi lang sya mahal wala pang effect sa akin (haizt!)

 skin ko sa braso (before)

skin ko sa legs ko (before)

2ND QUARTER:
Pano ko nalaman ang tungkol sa sabong ito, i have this officemate, negi daw sya dati, ang tawag daw sa kanya ay baluga hahaha! but that was before kasi ngayon, te ang puti niya as in seriously ang puti niya talaga. So out of curiosity, one time i asked her what did she do? nag gluta ba siya? sabi niya di daw siya nag gluta, pero meron lang daw syang soap na ginagamit foooor... (she forgot kung ilang years na) hiyang daw kasi sa kanya. So super kinulit ko sya kung anu yun but to my disappointment ang lola mo malihim hahaha!but one time napilit ko sya KOJIE SAN KOJIC ACID SOAP SKIN LIGHTENING SOAP pala (naka cupslock yan huh para kitang kita niyo).

Kojie San Kojic Acid soap (php 102.00/ box - 2 big bar of soap per box) sa 7/11 cheap diba?

Sabi sa box "Kojie San has an all-natural kojic acid formula that helps lighten dark spots due to acne, age sposts, freckless, sun-damaged skin, and other pigmentations. Kojic Acid was discovered in Japan. It is a by-product in the production of koji, or malted rice, for use in the manufacture of Japanese rice wine, in cosmetics, Kojic Acid is popularly known for its excellent whitening effects and antioxidant properties" wow di ba? i was convinced parang okay siya, so i bought one.

3RD QUARTER:
But before i use the soap, nagsearch muna ako sa net ng mga reviews. After kong mag back read ng mga thread sa net i decided to use it malay natin.

OA but i was so excited na tipong inuna ko ang magsabon kesa mag shampoo (pag nagme-mega shower kasi ako, shampoo muna bago sabon). Excited siguro ako kasi feeling ko this is it!

this is how i apply Kojic Soap into my skin, i lather it (makapal prang nagbbleach) then i let it dry then super banlaw after.

4TH QUARTER:
This is my review:  I've been using this soap for almost 3 weeks na and i LOVE IT!

3 stars - very good! clap clap!

what i LOVE about this product?
  • it did lightens my skin (fairer)
  • it does make my scars a little lighter (lalo sa bandang paa ko)
  • the smell of this soap (orange something ewan basta cistrus sarap ng amoy)
  • its cheap!
  • available everywhere (kahit saang province outside manila)
  • idk its a bit weird but like the orange stain of this product (indicator ko na even an spread ko ng kojic)
  • i feel super clean after i use it

what i don't like about this product?
  • it makes my skin a bit dry (maybe because i make babad it into my skin) but i use moisturizer... only at night.
  • it  melts easily

OVERTIME:
To those of you who want to have a fairer skin. I definitely recommend this product, use KOJI SAN KOJIC ACID SKIN LIGHTENING SOAP! just use a super good moisturize for those who have a dry skin.

ALL in ALL? super two thumbs up!

if di parin kayo convince sa review ko try to watch this vlog napanuod ko a week ago regarding pano siya pumuti idk but i like her voice (kaboses nia si angel locsin hahaha!)

Actually itong video na to ay isa sa mga dahilan ko kaya nainspired akong gumawa ng review about this soap.

I'll post some pics after 2 months para makita nio ang difference...bow!

Thank you and God bless

First time blogging

Hi! everyone... this is my first time.... blogging.. yey! i'm not sure if ithere is a rule in blogging but you know as what we Filipino always say "testing lang! wala namang mawawala diba? mali man or tama"

Okay, 2 weeks ago, i was planning to create a blog, but there are lots of question popping like pop corn in my mind, you know... like where to start? how to post? do i need to write it in english or i just need to stick with my original plan---write a blog in taglish (tagalog & english) lengo, wait.. bawal ba talagang mag tagalog? tsk! mukhang mahirap ah..  ang hirap te...

BUT! after days of thinking, lurking and reading blogs, I finally decided that i need to get one! So eager grrrrr... hahaha actually one of my reasons was  i was jealous to ms. Heart! here's the link of her blog (http://thatsheartd.blogspot.com/) she is so cute and galing niya! she inspired me talaga.

And just like her, ang dami kong gustong ikwento, i-share, i-comment  basta! gusto kong magkwento ng mag kwento ... and... yah! i think blogging is the only way i can share this stuff to you guys!  sorry to my randomness pero ito talaga ang mga reason ko.

Anyhow, this is my blog so i can say anything and everything! express my thoughts and share my experiences... to my dearest readers (sana meron) and fellow bloggers i hope you'll enjoy my blog.. this is my first post and again sorry to my randomness...basta bahala  na..!

Thank you and God bless!
